- Scanning (free): a free self-service scanner sends scans to email, USB or a smartphone [1].
- Fax: you can send and receive faxes, up to 25 pages, at 50¢ a page. International faxing isn't available. The library's fax number is 479-750-8182 [1].
- Where: the library is at 1209 W. Maple Ave.; phone 479-750-8180 [1][2]. We didn't find the library's hours on the pages we could read; call ahead. The library doesn't offer postal services [1].

Notary in Springdale
- Library (no charge): the Springdale Public Library notarizes at no charge as staff availability permits; staff may not be able to notarize documents that need more than 5 stamps. Call 479-750-8180 to check that a notary is in [2].
- What to bring: every signer must be present with official photo ID, and documents must be unsigned. Library notaries can't use a translator and can't certify photocopies of vital or public records, though they may certify copies of passports and driver's licenses [2].
- The UPS Store: its Springdale page lists notarizing [8].
- Fees (statewide): Arkansas sets no dollar amount. The Secretary of State's 2025 Notary Handbook says Arkansas notaries "are not required to charge for their services"; if a notary does charge, the amount must be reasonable and disclosed to and agreed upon by both you and the notary before the notarial act, citing A.C.A. § 21-6-309. The same rule applies to electronic notaries [11].
- ID and records (statewide): the handbook says Arkansas law doesn't specify "acceptable" identification and recommends a current ID card with the signer's picture and signature. The law doesn't require notaries to keep a journal, though the handbook recommends one [11].

You can submit by mail or in person, and either office can help if you have both kinds [22].
- Which copy: a notarized photocopy of a birth certificate isn't accepted; it must be the original or a certified copy from ADH Vital Records. Immigration, citizenship and U.S. Department of State documents can't be apostilled by the state [22].
- Payment and return: cash, check or money order to the Arkansas Secretary of State; Business & Commercial Services also takes cards, but the Elections Division doesn't. You don't need a return envelope unless you want express return, which needs a prepaid air bill [22].
