Affiliate disclosure: how this site makes money
Errand Desk is a small, independent site. Here is exactly how it earns money, so you can judge our guides with that in mind.
Affiliate links
- Some links on this site are affiliate links. Each one is marked (paid link) right next to it.
- If you click one and then buy or sign up, the company may pay us a commission. You don't pay more because you used our link.
- We currently may earn from these companies: Notarize (Proof) and iFax. We'll keep this list current.
- "Paid link" means exactly that: we may be paid a commission if you buy or sign up through it. In the code, these links also carry
rel="sponsored", so search engines know they are commercial.
What commissions don't change
- Prices and facts. Every price still comes from the provider's own official page (or a clearly cited source) with a "last checked" date. We don't estimate prices, and we report fees whether or not we earn from that provider.
- Order and rankings. We don't rank options by how much they pay us. Free and non-affiliate options, like public libraries, banks and credit unions, stay on the page and are listed just as prominently.
- Reviews. We don't publish reviews, ratings or testimonials we haven't verified, and we don't say we've tested a service unless we have.
Tips
You can leave an optional tip through Ko-fi (link in the footer). Tips don't buy any influence over what we publish.
Ads and sponsored content
This site has no display ads and no paid placements right now. If that changes, ads will be labeled "Advertisement," sponsored pages and listings will be labeled "Sponsored," and we'll update this page first.
Not affiliated with government agencies
Errand Desk isn't affiliated with the U.S. State Department, USPS or any government agency, or with the businesses it lists, except for the affiliate relationships named above.
