- Salt Lake County Clerk (Salt Lake City): the passport locator data says "photos, photocopy and notary services" are available on site at the clerk's office, 2001 S. State St., Suite S2-200, Salt Lake City [6]. We didn't find a notary price on the clerk's pages.

A remote notarization can cost up to $25. A travel fee, up to the federal mileage rate, is allowed only if the notary explains it and you agree in advance. Notaries must display an English-language fee schedule [16]. Utah's limit is per signature, unlike Wyoming's $10 per notarial act and Colorado's $15 per document.

- Banks (national policy): Bank of America says notary service is available "at no cost to our customers" and "in many of our financial centers." Schedule an appointment. All signers must be present [19]. For other banks, see free notary options.
