- The UPS Store: its Henderson page lists notarizing [12]. We didn't find store notary prices; Nevada's legal maximums are below.
- Fees (statewide): Nevada law sets the most a notary may charge: $15.00 for taking an acknowledgment, for the first signature of each signer, and $7.50 for each additional signature of each signer; $7.50 for an oath or affirmation; $7.50 for a certified copy; and $15.00 for each signature on a jurat. Fees are payable in advance if demanded [5].
- Travel fee (statewide): a notary may add a travel fee only if you asked for the travel, the notary explains it's extra and not required by law, and you agree to the hourly rate in advance. The cap is $15 an hour from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. and $30 an hour from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m., with a 2-hour minimum allowed [5].
- Posted fee table (statewide): a notary who charges must post a table of fees in the office, in type no smaller than 1/2 inch, and can't charge without one [5]. Nevada's $15 acknowledgment fee is higher than Montana's and Wyoming's $10 caps.

- Local offices: the state says you can also get records from the Southern Nevada Health District (Clark County) or the Washoe County health district, and that "Pricing may vary" there [16]. The state's only online vendor is VitalChek (vitalchek.com, 877-456-5410) [17].

- Fees (statewide law): the county clerk or clerk of the court charges 50 cents a page for a copy of any record (unless waived), $3.00 for each certificate under seal, $5.00 to examine and certify a copy you prepared, and 50 cents for each year searched [20].
Apostilles (statewide)
- Who: Nevada apostilles come from the Secretary of State, not the county. State law sets the fee at $20 to authenticate a notary's signature on a document for use abroad, as an apostille for Hague Convention countries or a certification for others [5].
- Fees: $20.00 per apostille or certification, plus any expedite fee you choose: 24-hour $75 (per notary authenticated), 4-hour $125, 2-hour $500 or 1-hour $1,000. The Secretary of State's example: one authentication on a marriage certificate with 24-hour expedite totals $95.00 [26].
- Processing time: the Secretary of State's pages disagree. Its apostille page says standard processing is 2 weeks [27], while its fee page says regular processing takes about 4–6 weeks [26]. Plan for the longer time, or ask the office.
- Where: the fee page lists 101 N. Carson Street, Suite 3, Carson City, NV 89701, (775) 684-5708 [26]. The request form lists 401 North Carson Street and the same phone number, and says all fees are per apostille or certification [21]. See the apostille guide.
More on certified copies: how to get a certified copy.
