Bellevue, Nebraska document errands: printing, fax, notary, passports and certified copies (2026)
Where to print, fax, notarize, apply for a passport and get certified copies in Bellevue, Nebraska, in Sarpy County just south of Omaha, using only official and provider pages. This is not Bellevue, Washington. Each fact links to its source. Some facts are statewide or national rather than local. We label those. Nebraska rules differ from Colorado's, Wyoming's and Utah's in several places, and we point those out.
Printing, copying, scanning and fax
Bellevue Public Library
| Service | What the library says |

- Bellevue Public Library: 2206 Longo Drive, Bellevue, NE 68005, 402-293-3157. Mon–Thu 9 a.m.–8 p.m., Fri 9 a.m.–6 p.m., Sat 9 a.m.–5 p.m., Sun noon–5 p.m. [1].

The UPS Store

Notary in Bellevue
- Bellevue Public Library (free): "Bellevue Public Library offers Notary services free to all patrons." Notaries are available most days during library hours, but not less than 45 minutes before closing, depending on which certified staff are working. No appointment is needed, but the library recommends calling first, and it doesn't guarantee availability [3].
- Library notary rules: bring a current valid photo ID, such as a driver's license, U.S. or foreign passport or U.S. military ID. The library doesn't provide witnesses. Don't sign in advance. Documents must be in English, and electronic and remote notarizations aren't available. Library notaries can't certify that a copy of a record such as a birth certificate is a true copy [3].
- The UPS Store: the 505 Cornhusker Rd store lists notary hours as "Available 7 Days" [25]. We didn't find its price.
- Nebraska fee limits (statewide): under Neb. Rev. Stat. 33-133, a notary may charge $5 for taking an acknowledgment, $5 for each certificate and seal, $2 for taking an affidavit and seal, and $2 for administering an oath or affirmation, plus mileage for serving notice. A state or local government employee may not charge these fees if the employer paid the notary's commission and bond fees [17]. Nebraska's caps are much lower than Utah's $10 per signature, Wyoming's $10 per notarial act and Colorado's $15 per document.
- Relatives (statewide): the Secretary of State says a Nebraska notary may not notarize a document signed by their parents, grandparents, children, grandchildren, spouse, brothers or sisters, including in-laws, step and half relatives [19].
- Commissions (statewide): the Secretary of State commissions Nebraska notaries. Its online filing process for notary forms took effect November 20, 2023 [18].
- Banks (national policy): Bank of America says notary service is available "at no cost to our customers" and "in many of our financial centers." Schedule an appointment. All signers must be present [22]. For other banks, see free notary options.
- Difference from Omaha and Lincoln: Omaha Public Library doesn't have a notary on staff, and we didn't find one at Lincoln City Libraries. Bellevue's library offers one for free [3].
