Mesa, Arizona document errands: printing, fax, notary, passports and certified copies (2026)
Where to print, fax, notarize, apply for a passport and get certified copies in Mesa, Arizona, using only official and provider pages. Each fact links to its source. Some facts are statewide or national rather than local. We label those.
Printing, copying, scanning and fax
Mesa Public Library
- Printing and copies: $0.20 a page in black and white and $1.00 a page in color, for printouts and photocopies. The print machines take coins (no pennies), $1 or $5 bills, or credit or debit cards; the Mesa Express Library machine takes only credit or debit [18].
- Copiers: at the Main, Red Mountain, Gateway and Dobson Ranch libraries, on 8" x 11" or 8" x 14" paper. There's no oversized or map copier [18].
- Fax: the Main, Red Mountain and Dobson Ranch libraries have a public fax machine, free for outgoing faxes only. You can't receive a fax at the library, and the machines don't print a confirmation page. Gateway and Mesa Express have no fax machine [18].
- Scanning: we didn't find a scanning service or price on the library pages we read [18].
- Main Library: 64 E. First St., Mesa, AZ 85201, (480) 644-3100. Mon–Thu 10 a.m.–8 p.m. and Fri–Sat 10 a.m.–5 p.m.; closed Sunday. Red Mountain (635 N. Power Road), Dobson Ranch (2425 S. Dobson Road) and Gateway (5036 S. Eastmark Parkway) libraries list the same hours [1]. The library says 9–10 a.m. Monday–Saturday is a self-service hour at all locations, with staff available at 10 a.m. [18].
The UPS Store
The UPS Store #3110, 1225 W Main St, Suite 101, Mesa, (480) 964-9870, lists printing and copying, mobile printing, fax (send and receive), notary and shredding. Its page lists hours of Mon–Fri 8:30 a.m.–6:30 p.m., Sat 9 a.m.–5 p.m. and Sun 10:30 a.m.–3:30 p.m. [15]. We didn't find prices on the store's page.

Notary in Mesa
- Library: we didn't find a notary service on the Mesa Public Library pages we read [18].
- The UPS Store: the 1225 W Main St store lists notary service [15]. We didn't find its notary price or separate notary hours.
- Fees (statewide): the Arizona Secretary of State says notary fees run from "No charge up to a maximum of $10.00 per notarial act," including electronic and remote online notarizations. A notary may not charge more for an electronic or remote notarization [11]. Arizona law also allows mileage and per diem up to the rates for state employees [12]. New Mexico caps most notary fees at $5 and Nebraska's acknowledgment cap is $5; Utah's is $10 per signature, Wyoming's $10 per notarial act and Colorado's $15 per document, and Kansas has no dollar cap.
- More fee rules (statewide): the Secretary of State's October 2026 Notary Public Reference Manual says a notary "can charge no more than $10 per notary public signature." A notary may charge less or nothing, but fees must be set and consistent. Arizona law requires notaries to post a schedule of fees "in a conspicuous place." Service or transaction fees "shall not be charged." A notary who travels may charge a mileage fee at "the amount allowed Arizona state employees" [17]. The $10 maximum includes electronic and remote online notarizations [11].
- What Arizona notaries do (statewide): only acknowledgments, jurats, copy certifications, and oaths and affirmations [11].
- Thumbprint (statewide): since September 12, 2026 (SB 1479), a notary must take your right thumbprint in the notary journal for deeds, quitclaim deeds, deeds of trust, other documents affecting real property and powers of attorney [11].
- Banks (national policy): Bank of America says notary service is available "at no cost to our customers" and "in many of our financial centers." Schedule an appointment. All signers must be present [13]. We didn't check which Mesa branches offer it. For other banks, see free notary options.
