Money orders (national USPS fees)
Post offices, including those in Denver, sell USPS money orders. Fees are national: $2.65 for $0.01 to $500.00, and $3.75 for $500.01 to $1,000.00. Pay with cash or a debit card, not a credit card. The limit is $1,000 per domestic money order [10]. Denver's vital records office takes money orders with no card fee [2]. Other sellers: money order guide.
Shredding (metro Denver)
We didn't find an upcoming City and County of Denver shred event published as of Oct 28, 2026. Metro-wide: the Arapahoe County Sheriff's Office says it partners with Metro Denver Crime Stoppers and other metro law enforcement agencies on "annual Shred-a-Thons at locations throughout the metro Denver area." Its 2026 event was September 19, 2026, in Centennial, and it limits each vehicle to three bags or bankers' boxes [12]. That date has passed. For paid per-pound shredding, see where to shred documents.
